The Heirloom Cornmeal Buttermilk Pancake Mix is our take on johnnycakes. We blend together Bloody Butcher Cornmeal, and two different grinds of NuEast Red whole wheat flour, for a soft, yet toothsome texture. Just add eggs, buttermilk (or yogurt, milk, or nut-milk), and butter/oil and enjoy the some of the freshest tasting pancakes or waffles you have ever had. (Instructions are on the back.)

We recommend using our products as soon as possible in order to enjoy the benefits of fresh flour, but if storing longer than 2 weeks, we recommend freezing or refrigerating for maximum shelf-life.
